ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ನೈಋತ್ಯ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಾನ್, ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಫ್ಘಾನಿಸ್ತಾನ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸಿಂಧ್, ಪಂಜಾಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಖೈಬರ್ ಪಖ್ತೂನ್ಖ್ವಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರೇಬಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತೀರ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ
ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಇತಿಹಾಸವು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವರ್ಷ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡು ಬರುವ ಮೇಹರ್ಗಢ್ ಎಂಬ ನವ ಪಾಷಾಣ ಕಾಲದ ನಾಗರಿಕತೆ (ಕ್ರಿ.ಪೂ. 7000) ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಏಷ್ಯಾದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಕೃಷಿ ನಾಗರಿಕತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು. ಇದನ್ನು ಹಲವಾರು ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಅಂದರೆ ಪರ್ಷಿಯನ್, ಗ್ರೀಕ್, ಮೌರ್ಯ, ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಂತರ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ವಸಾಹತು ಆಡಳಿತಗಳು ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದವು. 1947ರ ಭಾರತದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಾ ನಂತರ 1948ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾಯಿತು.

ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಸಹ, ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಾರ ಖನಿಜ ಸಂಪತ್ತುಗಳು ಇವೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನವನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಲು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಚೀನಾ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಇನ್ನಿಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಪಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಲು, ತಾಮ್ರ, ಚಿನ್ನ, ಮತ್ತು ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಅನಿಲ ಈ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇರಳವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಖನಿಜ ಸಂಪತ್ತುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಘಟಕಗಳು ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಬಹು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮೂಲಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಗ್ವಾದರ್ ಬಂದರು:
ಅರೇಬಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಈ ಬಂದರು, ಚೀನಾ-ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮಾರ್ಗ (CPEC) ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಅಡಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಗ್ವಾದರ್ ಬಂದರು ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಬಹುದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಂದರಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಂದರನ್ನು China Overseas Port Holding Company ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಗ್ವಾದರ್ ಬಂದರು ಮಧ್ಯ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರಾಚ್ಯ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ದ್ವಾರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಕರಾಚಿ ಮತ್ತು ಖಾಸಿಮ್ ಬಂದರಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಅವಲಂಬನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಒಂದು ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಳೆ ಬಹಳ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಕೃಷಿಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿ ಕಡಿಮೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿರುವ ಕೃಷಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಕಾಲೋಚಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗುವಂತಹ ಕೆಲವು ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬಲೂಚಿಸ್ತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಬಹದು. ಉದಾರಣೆಗೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ, ಸೇಬು, ದಾಳಿಂಬೆಯ ಬೆಳೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನೀರಿನ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇಂತಹ ತೋಟಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಬಹುದು.
